“Nurturing the creative spirit in our community.” At Arts Place, we believe that each person has the potential for creative expression and that the arts are a vital part of a thriving community. We nurture the creative spirit in individuals and in our community as a whole by making arts experiences, education and services accessible to the region’s residents, artists and cultural organizations.
Arts in the Parks is a series of summer arts workshops designed to introduce students aged 6 and older to a variety of experiences in the performing and visual arts. Arts in the Parks classes are offered in 14 communities, including (Ohio) Celina, Coldwater, Fort Recovery, Minster, New Bremen, St. Henry, and St. Marys, as well as (Indiana) Berne, Dunkirk, Hartford City, Montpelier, Pennville, Redkey, and Portland.
