Berne, IN – [Date] – First Bank of Berne proudly continues its commitment to supporting local educational initiatives with a donation to LifeWise Academy, a program dedicated to providing Bible-based character development classes for public school students.
A check was presented to Vanessa Bittner, LifeWise Academy Program Director North Adams, by Jessica Zuercher, Branch Manager of First Bank of Berne. The donation will directly support LifeWise Academy’s mission of equipping students with key character traits that inspire lasting, positive change in their lives.
LifeWise Academy offers students the unique opportunity to participate in character-building lessons during the school day, with parental permission. During designated times, students step away from traditional classroom instruction to engage in faith-based learning experiences that reinforce integrity, responsibility, and leadership.
“At First Bank of Berne, we believe in investing in the future of our community, and supporting LifeWise Academy is one way we can do that,” said Jessica Zuercher, Branch Manager. “We are proud to contribute to a program that helps students develop strong character traits that will serve them well throughout their lives.”
Those interested in contributing to LifeWise Academy’s mission can send checks made payable to LifeWise Academy with the memo "North Adams" to PO Box 1179, Hilliard, OH 43026, or donate online at lifewise.org/donate.
